Kid Two was playing in the kitchen. She said she was making cake, until it didn't firm up, then she said it was soup. Ingredients include potatoes, strawberry jelly, peanut butter, lemon Capri Sun, Ovaltine, crackers and Pringles.
It's just a watch, right?
My wife gave me an L.L. Bean field about 20 years ago, before we were married.
It's been my everyday watch, well, every day, since then. It's waterproof and has an indestructible cloth band.
A few years back it started running slow. I took it to the jeweler who made our wedding rings to be cleaned.
Back in the day at The University of Cincinnati, I took a pie in the face for charity. The pie was delivered by my cousin Brian Snape. The news anchor reporting the event was a young ex-mayor, Jerry Springer.
For the last few months, I've been feeling a bit isolated amid my usual crowd.
I live in a nice suburban house where my kids have room to run and play. I have a job as a reporter that lets me meet new people on a regular basis. I live in a small town where a lot of people know me. Yet, I've found myself looking for something more in terms of connecting with people.
